Sony Ericsson Idou gets a proper name, meet Satio

Well the retail name of Idou is no longer a mystery – the Sony Ericsson Satio is how the 12 megapixel full touch phone will be marketed. Some updates about the handset also emerged such as its final OS.

Among the most interesting things about Satio, one of the most popular handsets this year, is that it is now confirmed it will run Symbian S60 5th edition OS – the same as on the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic or Samsung Omnia HD. Obviously the Symbian Foundation will not be able to deliver their new OS in time for the Idou, eh, sorry, Satio release.

The other new stuff about the Satio are the camera touch focus and the gesture controls (not really sure if its accelerometer or camera based).

The Sony Ericsson Satio will be available in Black, Silver and Bordeaux colors and will come with color-matching headphones and a 8GB microSD card in the retail package.Wait for the release coming your way very soon.

Neonode N2 probably the most unique and cute awaited cell phone ever made. Designed for advance simplicity, Neonode N2 comes in a small and unique design.Packs a new input interface called ‘optical touch screen, user can do everything with Neonode N2 conveniently with just one finger.

Neonode N2 dimension is only 47×77×14,7 mm packed with 2-inch optical touch screen with 176 x 220 pixels resolution at 65K colorsand its weight is 60 grams. Neonode using its own user interface called ‘Neno user interface’.
Neonode N2 works on quad-band GSM networks ( 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz bands ) but only support GPRS, no EDGE, UMTS or HSDPA support.

Its media player support MP3, WMA and Wav for audio files while for video files, N2 support MPEG, WMV. All user files is stored on a miniSD card.To copy files from/to PC, there are a data cable in the package or use its Bluetooth.
