It’s time to play now..

31 12 2009

The Sony Ericsson Yari has gesture gaming. Instead of moving the phone or clicking buttons, You make moves in front of the screen to get right in the middle of the action.

Seriously, can somebody explain to me how can you get in the middle of the action while moving in front of a 2.4-inch screen? Gesture gaming already exists in Japan and, just by imagining it, I have the feeling it should have never left that country.

Twist, tilt, turn, smash – gesture gaming is here with the Sony Ericsson Yari.

Comes with 5 megapixel camera with aouto-focus and zoooming.

And for Aino as well,Get all the entertainment you’ve ever craved on the stunning Sony Ericsson Aino mobile phone. Transfer your media files from your PC to your phone and navigate through your entertainment with the swipe of a finger via the intuitive touch screen display. You can even access your videos, music and photos stored on your PlayStation®3 system with Remote Play.

Take dazzling pictures with an 8.1 Megapixel camera. In fact, use the camera function just like you would a stand-alone camera – holding it horizontally with the wide screen acting as your viewfinder. The Aino™ phone is loaded with imaging features, such as dedicated camera buttons, Auto Focus, Photo flash, image stabilization, a 16x digital zoom, Face Detection and BestPic™ technologies, making it easy to forget that it is also your phone.

Sony Ericsson Idou gets a proper name, meet Satio

30 05 2009

Well the retail name of Idou is no longer a mystery – the Sony Ericsson Satio is how the 12 megapixel full touch phone will be marketed. Some updates about the handset also emerged such as its final OS.

Among the most interesting things about Satio, one of the most popular handsets this year, is that it is now confirmed it will run Symbian S60 5th edition OS – the same as on the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic or Samsung Omnia HD. Obviously the Symbian Foundation will not be able to deliver their new OS in time for the Idou, eh, sorry, Satio release.

The other new stuff about the Satio are the camera touch focus and the gesture controls (not really sure if its accelerometer or camera based).

The Sony Ericsson Satio will be available in Black, Silver and Bordeaux colors and will come with color-matching headphones and a 8GB microSD card in the retail package.Wait for the release coming your way very soon.
